you cannot live forever
Accumulative process-based installation, live-feed video, dissected Artforum magazines, video projections, graphite drawings
2009
You cannot live forever was a process-based installation that focused on the disposability and rapid production of images in contemporary visual culture. The project revolved around the process of excavating and repurposing images from an archive of Artforum magazines as material for the creation of new works. The exhibition consisted of a fluid live-feed collage projection, a collection of works on paper made in the space, and a wall drawing. Images were created and subsequently buried by new images over the course of the three day exhibit.
