Kevin Clancy is an interdisciplinary artist working at the fluid convergence of installation, sculpture, light, and expanded media. He creates immersive installations that explore the eternal tensions between Utopia and Oblivion, providing both critical ruminations on contemporary culture and radiant lenses through which to envision brighter futures. His current work examines the complex effects of rapid technological accelerations on the human body, psyche, and social spheres.

He has exhibited work at Mattress Factory (Pittsburgh), Other Places Art Fair (Los Angeles), Bunker Projects (Pittsburgh), VIVO Media Arts Centre (Vancouver), Flux Factory (Queens), The Andy Warhol Museum (Pittsburgh), ILLUMINUS (Boston), Keleketla! Library (Johannesburg), Samsøn (Boston), University of California Santa Barbara, University of Massachusetts Boston, West Virginia University, and Penn State University.

He holds an MFA from the University of California Santa Barbara with a Chancellor’s Fellowship and a BFA with Honors and Distinction from the Studio for Interrelated Media at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
